What do eligible citizens in Germany receive before an election?

Why — for every option

  1. A — Correct: before every election, the municipality sends a notification card with details of the polling station and time to everyone registered on the electoral roll.
  2. B — There is no "voting permit" issued by the Federal President; the right to vote follows directly from the law.
  3. C — The Federal Convention only meets to elect the Federal President and does not send out notification cards.
  4. D — The parish office is a church, not a state, body and does not send out notification cards.
