- A — Correct: the Schengen Area comprises most EU states (and a few more), between which there are no longer systematic passport checks at internal borders.
- B — The Schengen Area applies only between member states; entry from non-member countries remains subject to border controls and entry requirements.
- C — Schengen applies only within the Schengen Area, not worldwide — not "any country".
- D — The common euro currency is a separate arrangement (the eurozone), independent of the Schengen Agreement on freedom of travel.
